To all patients of Pediatric Medicine but especially to the patients of Dr Gerson we share the sad news of the passing of Dr Gerson’s wife Kristine.  Some of you may have noted that Dr Gerson wore a mask for many years; this was an example of his dedication to his wife and his work attempting to keep all safe.  We appreciate the flexibility of families as scheduling changes were necessitated over the years for Dr Gerson to take Kristine to appointments and more recently allowing him to take the time he needed upon her passing.  Moving forward Dr Gerson looks forward to caring for his patients with the same skill and empathy he always has but temporarily at a reduced schedule.  We thank you all for the trust you place in Pediatric Medicine and we are here to help your children and families in any way we can – as we have been for over 50 years.
